Job summary

Arandell seeks a Material Handling/Handler Supervisor (2nd Shift) in Wisconsin to oversee Forklift Truck Operators and material handling processes on the production floor. You will guide safety, efficiency, and adherence to schedules, while collaborating with managers and other departments.

Requirements include 2+ years in warehouse supervision, and a valid driver's license. Overtime/weekend hours may be required. Salary ranges from $63,000 to $68,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience in a warehouse shipping/receiving environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Demonstrated results driven leadership skills.
• Ideal candidates will show self-motivation and a goal-driven personality with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Daily oversight and assignment of all Forklift Truck Operators and their performance of the assigned tasks relative to material handling processes and systems.
• Oversees the development of plans for storage and arrangement of stock.
• Ensures staff adheres to work priorities, project schedules and material flow with production requirements.
• Communicates with other supervisors and managers to coordinate material handling activities.
• Trains and directs Fork Lift Truck Operators in equipment use, material handling and safety rules.
• Monitors mailing information including trailer schedules and data accuracy.
• Provides leadership by setting clear expectations and high standards of work practices and safety.
• Involved with personnel development including morale, training, corrective action and evaluations.
• Reports production information and problems to the Manager of Logistics & Warehouse.
• Interacts with support departments on issues affecting customer expectations and production efforts.
• Consults with HR on hiring, terminations, or discipline.
• Maintains confidentiality and positive customer relations.
• Supports environmental programs and participates in special duties as assigned.
