Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Material Handler II on site in Wisconsin. The role involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, moving materials for production and shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will participate in cycle counts, audits, and flow coordination between warehouse, production, and shipping teams. The position requires at least 2 years of forklift experience, familiarity with ERP/inventory systems, and solid English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling procedures.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to accurately document inventory transactions.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
• Experience coordinating shipments, inventory movement, or freight activity with suppliers and carriers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Move, pull, stage, and prepare materials for production and customer shipments.
• Receive, unload, inspect, label, and store incoming materials.
• Verify material quantities, product identification, and inventory locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and document material movements.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Build and prepare pallets, crates, and containers for shipment using wrapping, strapping, bracing, and protective materials.
• Inspect material-handling equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Coordinate material flow between warehouse, production, and shipping departments.
• Communicate with approved outside processing suppliers regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and order priorities.
• Update company systems to track outsourced materials and inventory movements.
• Provide material status updates to support production planning and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all quality, inventory, and safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to material flow and inventory control.
