Job summary

Amerhart, Ltd. is seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Material Handler for our Sun Prairie, WI facility. Primary duties include shipping, receiving, and stocking warehouse material while adhering to safety policies.

Shift runs 4:00pm to Midnight, Monday through Friday. Training hours are 9am-6pm for 3–6 weeks with starting pay of $22.50 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential. As a member of the Operations team you will support others when workload demands and maintain a neat, safe work

Qualifications

• Prerequisite forklift experience.
• Must be neat and presentable.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and replenish warehouse material.
• Pick orders using a forklift until fully filled; report shortages or damage.
• Use handheld scanner for receiving, picking, loading and cycle counting per WMS.
• Collaborate with WMS Coordinator on questions and updates.
• Band, wrap and prepare material for shipping.
• Arrange orders on trucks with safe weight distribution.
• Follow safety procedures in warehouse duties.
• Fill orders for incoming customers.
• Perform routine maintenance like cleaning warehouses/yard.
• Inspect forklift daily to avoid issues per OSHA.
• Cross-train and back-up others in warehouse.
