Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. is seeking a Foreman for the 2nd shift at Newport News Shipbuilding. You will supervise and coordinate semi-skilled and skilled trades staff, ensuring adherence to drawings, procedures, and safety standards to deliver high-quality work.

This role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and requires 10%–25% travel. Relocation is not provided, and telework is not available. U.S. citizenship may be required for certain positions.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree or Apprentice Certification.
• High School and 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, or military experience.
• Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience.
• U.S. Citizenship may be required for certain positions.

Mansioni

• Supervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel.
• Supervises and trains employees to improve quality and quantity of work performed.
• Responsible for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations with significant financial impact on the company's performance.
