Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at the Houston Prepared Foods Plant. You’ll lead a team to maintain high production, quality and yields while upholding safety and compliance, with duties spanning hiring, training and coaching.

The role requires leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; travel may be involved as needed. Monday–Friday schedule with extended days as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional vocational or college courses preferred.
• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, retain and coach team; educate on benefits, compensations and policies.
• Monitor daily production orders; ensure accurate shipments and inventory rotation.
• Ensure staffing and machine readiness; enforce USDA inspection compliance; promote safety.
