Training starts on 1st shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift lead role. The position emphasizes hands‑on leadership, safety, and meeting daily targets with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment.
Minimum 6 months lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or plant setting.
Basic computer literacy for logging shift metrics and updates.
Ability to complete initial training on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct 2nd shift production associates to meet daily throughput, yield, and packing targets.
Monitor line speeds, clear bottlenecks, and reassign personnel to keep lines moving.
Onboard, train, and mentor team members on equipment operation and safety standards.
Enforce GMPs, sanitation guidelines, and quality standards across the plant floor.
Log daily attendance, track productivity, and complete shift logs in tracking software.
Communicate daily yield metrics and maintenance needs to plant management.
