Job summary

SnackCraft in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair food manufacturing equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to keep production running safely and efficiently.

This role requires reading electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings, adhering to GMP and safety policies, and collaborating with production and contractors to improve line performance.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining food manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
• Familiarity with GMP and food safety policies.
• Comfort with Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic expertise to production teams.
• Follow GMP, Food Safety, BRC, and maintenance policies.
• Maintain equipment to produce products safely and efficiently.
• Assist in reading and understanding electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings, blueprints, schematics.
• Coordinate with contractors and maintenance leadership to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Perform setup, start-up, and changeover of equipment as required by standards.
