Job summary

Lobos Staffing is seeking a skilled Food Machine Operator for a 2nd shift in Hayward, CA. You will operate production machinery to keep the line running, monitor ingredients, adjust settings for quality, and sanitize equipment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing 8-10 hours, and working in a cold, damp meat-processing environment. Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, ASAP start; previous machine operator/manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Machine Operator experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of GMP experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in a meat-processing/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork accurately.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food production machinery.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain proper production flow and product quality.
• Ensure the correct ingredients and supplies are being used on the production line.
• Sanitize and clean production equipment.
• Identify machine issues and notify the supervisor when maintenance is required.
• Complete required production paperwork.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Effectively communicate with supervisors and management.
• Work in various departments throughout the meat-processing facility as needed.
