Job summary

Lobos Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator for a food manufacturing facility in Hayward, CA. The role is 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) with a Temp-to-Perm path and an ASAP start. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour, with potential for permanent placement based on performance.

Responsibilities include operating production machinery, following SOPs and GMPs, maintaining accurate batch records, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 2nd shift experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating production machinery and reading SOPs.
• Knowledge of GMPs and food safety practices.
• Ability to record batch information and production counts.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate Equipment: Start, stop, monitor, and operate production machinery to ensure proper performance.
• Follow SOPs: Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all safety and quality requirements.
• Maintain Documentation: Accurately record batch information, production counts, equipment checks, and cleaning logs.
• Troubleshoot Equipment: Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Cleaning & Sanitation: Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas according to GMP and sanitation standards.
• Quality & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant production environment at all times.
