Job summary

Pratt Industries is hiring a Machine Operator for folder gluer, flexo press, and related equipment in Sandston, VA. This full-time, hourly role covers setup, operation, cleanup, and continuous improvement to meet cost, quality, and schedule goals.

You will run multiple box styles, train others, and ensure safety and housekeeping standards are followed. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience operating industrial printing/packaging equipment preferred.
Ability to learn mechanical setup and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Set up folding and gluing operations with proper techniques.
Operate the folder gluer to maximize quality and efficiency.
Minimize material waste and glue usage.
Monitor quality and fix mis-slots, misprints, or defects.
Complete production, status, safety, and quality reports accurately.
Assist in training new operators and adapt to different box styles.
