Job summary

Alleguard is hiring a 2nd Shift Press Operator at our Michigan manufacturing site to inspect molded parts, sort according to quality specs, and pack them per customer requirements. You will ensure parts are ejected properly and labeled correctly while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires physical work, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with flexibility in shift hours. We offer medical, vision, life, 401k, disability, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to visually inspect parts during the production operation and determine if they meet quality standards.
• Reading and understanding written work instructions.
• Ability to listen actively and communicate effectively in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment and monitoring gauges/dials.

Responsibilities

• Monitor press to ensure parts eject from the mold and report issues.
• Pack acceptable parts into predefined packaging or pallet configurations.
• Discard or reject products not meeting specifications.
• Label finished containers with designated information.
• Perform visual inspection for conformance to quality standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety policies.
• Transfer parts in/out of drying tunnel as required.
