Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. in Mentor, OH is seeking a Night Shift Floor Technician to join our manufacturing facility team. You will perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, sealing, deep cleaning, and general housekeeping to maintain floors and surfaces in top condition.

We offer on-the-job training with a Monday–Friday schedule, 5:00 PM–1:30 AM shifts, and weekends as needed. Prior floor care experience and reliable transportation are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience (stripping, waxing, carpet cleaning) required or preferred.
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for cleaning and moving equipment.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with staff.
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Ability to follow schedules and meet commitments.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisor.
• Demonstrated professionalism in a manufacturing/industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Steam-clean carpets.
• Strip floors with proper equipment.
• Apply wax and buff floors.
• Apply sealant to floors.
• Deep clean painted floors using appropriate chemicals.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean other surfaces.
• Collect and empty trash.
• Move heavy equipment and furniture.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for you to…

• Apply wax to coat floors and buff
• Apply sealant to floors
• Deep clean painted floors using appropriate chemicals/degreasers
• Clean buildings by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors and cleaning other surfaces
• Gather and empty trash
• Move heavy equipment and furniture
• Other duties as assigned
