Job summary

Allegiance-Industries is hiring a 2nd Shift Floor Technician for an education facility in Columbia, SC. Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–1:00 AM. On-the-job training is provided as we seek individuals to go above minimum requirements and join the Allegiance team.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow schedules and follow directions from a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Steam-clean carpets.
• Strip floors using proper machinery.
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff.
• Apply sealant to floors.
• Deep clean painted floors using appropriate chemicals.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and clean other surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Move heavy equipment and furniture.
• Other duties as assigned.
