Job summary

CCL is seeking a press operator to set up and operate a flexographic printing press, producing basic to multi-color work on rolls of flexible film, paper, and other stock. You will follow job jackets and adhere to production times.

The role requires reading rulers to 1/32" and 1 mm, working in a fast-paced team environment, and maintaining color accuracy and registration for quality results. Training is provided and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a standard ruler to 1/32" and a metric ruler to 1mm.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Operates flexographic printing press to produce basic to multi-color process printing on rolls of film, paper, and other stock.
• Sets up press and reviews job jackets, specs, and customer requirements.
• Ensures color accuracy, registration, and press quality; makes adjustments as needed.
• Maintains clean work area and adheres to SOPs, GMPs, and safety rules.
• Trains co-workers and supports team to maximize production efficiencies.
