Job summary

Penske is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Augusta, GA. The role oversees diesel technicians, coordinating preventive, mechanical, and electrical repairs for tractors, trucks, and trailers. You’ll hire, train, and grow a skilled team to meet customer expectations.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years in fleet maintenance management or 3 years in strong operational team management. Travel within the district may be required. The shift is 2nd with 2:30p-11p.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred
• 3+ years of team management in metrics-driven environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associates or Tech School degree preferred
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web-based apps preferred
• DOT/OSHA safety policies compliance required
• Regular, predictable attendance essential
• Willingness to travel within the district
• Willingness to travel as necessary and pass background/drug screening

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers’ needs
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske assets
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs
• Monitor associate work levels
• Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment
• Other duties and tasks as required by supervisor
