Job summary

Tyson Foods in Rogers, Arkansas is seeking a FP Machine Operator (2nd Shift) to operate the flat pack machine, set up programs, calibrate equipment, and adjust parameters to meet weight and portion specifications.

You will monitor product quality, maintain safe line operations, report maintenance needs to the supervisor, and comply with Tyson policies. Hours are 2:30 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays; pay is $17.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Six months of continuous work history in the last 12 months.
• 180-day waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members.
• Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
• Applications from the following counties: Washington, Benton, and Madison.

Responsibilities

• Operate the flat pack machine, set up the program, calibrate, and adjust machine parameters to produce the desired weights, cuts, and portions.
• Perform regular checks on the resulting meat and portions to determine machine performance and adjust accordingly to meet specifications.
• Ensure continuous flow of product through the production line and verify proper ingredients are used on the line.
• Notify the supervisor if machinery requires maintenance and uphold a safe work environment in line with Tyson policies.
