Job summary

Atkore in Pueblo, Colorado, is seeking a Fittings Specialty Parts/Assembly I for the 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.).

The role offers $21.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium, with responsibilities including quality production of specialty fittings and custom assembly parts under supervision. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and about two years of shop experience, with strong math skills, attention to detail, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two year’s previous shop experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good understanding of math skills required for quick and accurate counting, calculations and measurements including radius, inside and outside diameter, and length.

Responsibilities

• Confirm product with schedule and locate appropriate inventory.
• Remove cured fittings from oven and extract from the mandrel.
• Cut each fitting per each respective drawing and finish the ends, including adding tri-seals, O-rings, etc. when necessary.
• Affix all appropriate labels, pack the finished product, and place in the inventory location.
• Perform Final Inspection both dimensional and visual per standards.
• Maintain work-in-process area for fittings being sent to the machine shop.
• Keep accurate production records including quantity finished, packaged, and scrapped.
• Inspect - by verifying saw cuts; product color; length; order quantity; and presence of dry fibers, flaws, and variances.
• Responsible for housekeeping in assigned area.
• Perform any other tasks appointed by management
