Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Part Time Fittings Specialty Parts/Assembly I for the day shift (7:00am–7:00pm) on weekends in Pueblo, Colorado. You will ensure quality and accurate production of specialty fittings and custom assembly parts, reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Responsibilities include verifying schedules, prepping inventory, cutting to drawing specifications, assembling with seals, labeling, packing, inspecting, and maintaining clean work areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' shop experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong math skills for counting, calculations, and measurements (radius, diameters, length).

Responsibilities

• Confirm product with schedule and locate inventory.
• Remove cured fittings from oven and extract from the mandrel.
• Cut fittings per drawings and finish ends; add tri-seals and O-rings when needed.
• Affix labels, pack finished product, and store in inventory location.
• Perform final inspection (dimensional and visual) per standards.
• Maintain WIP area for fittings sent to machine shop.
• Keep production records (finished, packaged, scrapped).
• Inspect by verifying saw cuts, color, length, quantity, and defects.
• Housekeeping in assigned area; perform other tasks as appointed.
