Job summary

Atkore International in Pueblo, Colorado is hiring for a Fittings Specialty Parts/Assembly I on the 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.). You will support production of specialty fittings and assembly parts, ensure quality, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities include processing parts, labeling, inspection, inventory handling, and collaboration with the machine shop. The role requires a high school diploma, some shop experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of shop experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong math skills for counting, measuring and diameter calculations.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Adaptable to change and able to handle multiple demands calmly.

Responsibilities

• Confirm product with schedule and locate appropriate inventory.
• Remove cured fittings from oven and extract from the mandrel.
• Cut fittings per drawings and finish the ends, including tri-seals and O-rings when necessary.
• Affix labels, pack finished product, and place in inventory location.
• Perform final inspection (dimensional and visual) per standards.
• Maintain work-in-process area for fittings being sent to the machine shop.
• Keep accurate production records (finished, packaged, scrapped).
• Inspect by verifying saw cuts, color, length, order quantity, and presence of defects.
• Maintain housekeeping in the assigned area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Within 3 months, follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE, have zero safety incidents, keep attendance points low, and avoid warnings.
