Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Finishing Operator for the finishing center. The role involves packaging slit rolls, operating the manual packaging line, preparing cores, and ensuring adherence to packaging standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong safety focus, and ability to work in a team. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Must follow written and oral instructions.

• Strong service and quality focus with root-cause analysis.
• Ability to contribute in a team-based environment and cross-train.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label, and package finished goods per customer specs and quality standards.
• Inspect general appearance of finished product.
• Maintain packaging materials and prepare cores for machines.
• Coordinate information with shift/department to ensure smooth operations.
• Track multiple orders and perform 5S and safety audits.
• Assist in equipment maintenance as directed and participate in improvements.
