Job summary

Avery Dennison is recruiting a Finishing Operator to support the finishing department. You will lead machine set ups, perform changeovers, and drive quality improvements on the 2nd shift (3 PM–11 PM) with a 2-2-3 schedule.

The role emphasizes safety, data capture, and teamwork, with responsibilities spanning production, data logging, and equipment maintenance. The job requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in manufacturing.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead machine set ups and changeovers.
• Manufacture products to required specifications for the assets in the Finishing Department.
• Run orders per product specifications and standard practices.
• Perform routine set-up and changeover of machines.
• Capture and record downtime causes and performance-to-plan.
• Inspect general appearance of finished product.
• Participate in group problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed.
• Communicate information to shift/department personnel to ensure effective operations.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor.
