Job summary

Taylor Corporation in North Mankato, MN is seeking an Equipment Operator for the 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 2:00 AM) to operate finishing and printing press equipment according to job specs and quality standards. The role involves performing routine maintenance, setting ink color and ensuring correct material handling and safe operation.

You will work with the Production Team to prioritize jobs, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high quality throughout runs.

Qualifications

• Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances.
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• High degree of mechanical ability.
• Good reading ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment according to job specifications.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for type, size, color and quantity; check plates for correct format.
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality; coordinate with Production Team to meet deadlines.
