Job summary

Advantage Label & Packaging, Inc. in Kentwood, MI is seeking a 2nd Shift Finisher to complete production of high-quality labels in a safe, efficient manner. The role requires supporting equipment maintenance, assisting in quality checks, and collaborative teamwork with the office and production staff.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, pass a color vision deficiency test, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be 18+.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be able to pass a color vision deficiency test.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality in the items they produce.
• Maintain all equipment used in the finishing process.
• Notify the Production Supervisor of any problems or questions with equipment.
• Keep production area clean, neat, and organized.
• Communicate any problems or potential problems with other employees to the Production Supervisor.
• Assist in Quality Checks and Packaging.
• Work with office staff as a team, and with respect.
• Effectively and efficiently manage time.
