Job summary

Advantage Label & Packaging, a UFP Packaging Company, is looking for a 2nd Shift Finisher in Kentwood, MI. The role focuses on completing production efficiently while ensuring quality and collaborating with the team.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass a color vision test, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Candidate must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be able to pass a test for color vision deficiency.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality in the items they produce.
• Maintain all equipment used in the finishing process.
• Notify the Production Supervisor of any problems or questions with equipment.
• Keep production area clean, neat, and organized.
• Communicate any problems or potential problems with other employees to the Production Supervisor.
• Assist in Quality Checks and Packaging.
• Work with office staff as a team, and with respect.
• Effectively and efficiently manage time.
