Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly, or fiber optics preferred.
• Ability to work with small components and fine motor tools.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, terminate, and polish fiber optic connectors and cable assemblies according to specifications.
• Operate fiber optic preparation tools including cleavers, strippers, microscopes, and polishing equipment.
• Inspect components using microscopes and precision tools to ensure quality.
• Perform optical testing such as insertion loss and return loss measurements.
• Maintain production records and traveler sign-offs in a cleanroom environment.
• Follow ESD procedures and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
