Job summary

KENT Nutrition Group in Sheldon, IA is hiring a Machine Operator for 2nd shift (6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.). The role involves daily operation of production equipment, quality control, and load-out tasks in a feed manufacturing plant.

The successful candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, and the ability to work as part of a team in a safety-conscious environment. A complete benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Farming background is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to process and manufacture feed products.
• Safely operate the bagger, sewing machine, forklift and all feed equipment.
• Follow warehouse and loading protocols and ensure quality assurance.
• Record and document all feed produced during shift.
