Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a 2nd shift Facilities Technician in the Clear Lake area of Houston, TX. The role is onsite, Monday through Friday, 3:00pm–12:00am, focusing on maintenance of facilities and equipment, safety, and compliant operations.

You will inspect, repair, and install HVAC, electrical, and plumbing components, document progress, and communicate with management. Candidates should have 5+ years of facilities experience and strong problem-solving skills to thrive in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities experience.
• HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and time-management skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, and safely.
• Maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.
• Provide scheduled and emergency/unscheduled repairs.
• Communication with management.
• Oversight & install/repair: HVAC systems, cabinets, partitions, shelves, drop ceilings, floors, doors, locks, faucets, water heaters, lighting, and related items.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Operating and Maintaining Shop Equipment.
• Operating heavy machinery, such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and manlifts is a plus.
• Visit job sites daily to document and ensure the quality, safety, and progress of the work.
• Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
• Implementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform additional job duties as assigned
