Huntley Community School District 158 is seeking a Maintenance worker for the 2nd shift at the District Office. The role involves light maintenance, repairs, and collaboration with administration and contractors.

You’ll participate in preventative maintenance and respond to emergencies, including snow removal, on a rotating on-call basis. Starting immediately, this 12-month full-time position requires an associate degree or equivalent, with experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or five years related experience.
• Illinois driver’s license required. HVAC education noted in requirements.
• Experience with commercial building plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light maintenance and repairs to buildings and grounds.
• Work with administration and contractors on maintenance tasks.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program and emergency repairs as needed.
• Respond to on-call and snow removal duties as required.
