Job summary

Nortek Air Solutions, LLC in manufacturing operations is seeking an experienced Fabrication Manufacturing Operator. Under supervision, you will operate fin press, expander press, and hairpin tubing press, monitor meters and controls, and perform leak tests and assembly tasks while maintaining safety standards.

You will read blueprints, plan operation sequences, and work with a team to meet production targets. Protective gear is required and adherence to lean practices is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• 2-year technical degree or Vo-Tech certification highly preferred.
• 5+ years of work experience with similar machinery in industrial setting.
• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Must be able to speak and read English.

Responsibilities

• Lays out or details layout on work stock from blueprints or templates.
• Plans sequence of operations, applying knowledge of physical properties of metal.
• Work well with others, with limited supervision.
• Setting up and operating several types of machines.
• Commits to performing job duties in a manner that ensures a safe work environment.
• Willingly and cooperatively performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Must be able to wear protective gear and equipment.

• Other Ad hoc duties as assigned by manager
