Job summary

Lake Air Products, a fast-growing contract manufacturer serving medical, aerospace & defense, industrial markets, is seeking a 2nd shift Press Brake Lead to set up, operate, and lead the department. You will manage job assignments, mentor operators, ensure quality and productivity, and maintain a safe work environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of press brake setup, tooling, blueprint reading, and sheet metal fabrication.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of press brake experience.
• Excellent people skills and ability to work with a leadership team.
• Must have integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations within the Press Brake department and support production goals.
• Set up and operate press brake equipment according to blueprint specs.
• Assign jobs, coordinate workflow, and ensure availability of materials and tools.
• Train, mentor, and support Operators on setup, tooling, reading blueprints, and quality expectations.
• Troubleshoot machine setups, tooling, bend allowances, and production issues to minimize downtime.
