Job summary

Americhem in Concord, NC is hiring a Machine Operator I for the 2nd shift (extrusion). You will set up, operate, and tend extrusion machines to process a variety of compounds, following safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience. You’ll benefit from uniforms, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, life insurance, and a generous 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing/production experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to operate extrusion equipment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend extrusion machines to process products.
• Follow safety procedures to protect self and others and improve safety.
• Assist with color mixing and material handling for production.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Maintain production documentation and ensure quality.
