Job summary

Americhem in Morrisville, PA is seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator for the 2nd shift to run extrusion lines safely and efficiently, producing color compounds per specifications. The role requires operation of extrusion equipment, setup of dies and blades, and monitoring product quality.

You will train on the 1st shift and document production data, perform basic maintenance, and assist with shift transitions. Competitive hourly pay with a shift differential and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Ability to train on 1st shift.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE.
• Ability to read work orders and operate extrusion equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set up extruder, dies, and blades according to specs.
• Monitor quality and adjust process to meet color/quality specs.
• Document labor hours and production data.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and assist with preventative maintenance.
• Assist team leader on shift transitions.
