Valmont Industries in Claxton, GA, seeks a 2nd shift operator to run manufacturing equipment and support safe, efficient production. You will read blueprints and operate tools such as pour carts, water jets, and drill presses, while adhering to safety standards and quality requirements.

The role requires reading and following instructions in English, and being able to lift up to 50 pounds with occasional overtime to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is highly desirable but not required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Communicate problems or needs to supervision.
• Ability to work overtime as required to meet business needs.

Responsabilités

• Operate production equipment including pour carts, mi-jack, water jet, shuttle lift, stress jack, drill press, and other mobile equipment.
• Follow department processes and safety policies.
• Perform safety audits and participate in Lean, Gemba and 5S practices.
• Read measurements accurately using a tape measure.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and vendors.
