Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. seeks a 2nd Shift Environmental Services Manager at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, MS. You will lead the Environmental Services team, coordinate with hospital departments, and ensure high cleanliness standards.

Candidates should have strong leadership, customer service, and the ability to schedule, train, and discipline staff. A High School diploma is required; college degree preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work some differing shifts.
• Strong service/quality attitude.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection process; interview candidates as needed; schedule days off, holidays and vacations.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment use.
• Ensure staff receives orientation, training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to maximize performance.
• Discipline associates per progressive guidelines and follow up on actions.
• Prepare disciplinary and variance reports and report findings to Department Director.
• Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Demonstrate Xanitos’ culture, values and management philosophy.
• Demonstrate quality leadership in meeting performance plans.
