Job summary

Xanitos, Inc is seeking a 2nd Shift Environmental Services Manager for Garfield Medical Center in Monterey Park, CA. You will lead the Environmental Services team, coordinate with the Unit Director, and ensure top-tier service across hospital departments.

Responsibilities include staff selection, scheduling, training, discipline, quality checks, inventory control and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Strong leadership and customer-service focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills with experience leading a team.
• Customer service minded and able to liaison with hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection and interview candidates as needed.
• Schedule days off, holidays and vacations to meet account needs.
• Assign personnel to work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality checks and manage materials inventory.
• Ensure proper orientation, training and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff for peak performance.
• Discipline staff per progressive guidelines and document actions.
• Prepare disciplinary and variance reports and follow up as required.
• Maintain a sanitary and orderly environment in the facility.
• Promote Xanitos culture, values and management philosophy.
• Lead in meeting performance plans.
