Job summary

The DAVIS Companies is seeking an entry-level 2nd shift Assembler in Andover, MA to assemble and test units in a cleanroom environment, with a pay rate of $19.80 per hour plus a $600 retention bonus after 1040 hours. Overtime is available.

You will perform electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly, follow wiring and soldering methods, and work from blueprints to meet tolerances. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of related assembly work experience.
• Must pass background check.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• English literacy (read, speak, write).

Responsibilities

Shift of the Assembler:

2nd Shift - M-F 3:30 PM - midnight

Pay Rate of the Assembler:

$18 + 10% differential = $19.80

Responsibilities of the Assembler:

• Perform a variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly operations.
• Follow methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
• Make set-ups and adjustments while holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Test equipment and products as required.
• Work in a cleanroom environment to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications of the Assembler:

• 0-1 years of job-related work experience.
• Experience with Windows-based computers is preferred.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
