Job summary

Hayden Valley Foods is seeking an Enrobing Operator for the 2nd shift to safely set up, run, and monitor enrobing equipment and production lines. You will ensure product quality, adherence to recipes, and proper documentation while coordinating with maintenance and QA teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions, formulas, production specifications, and safety procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to recognize equipment or process abnormalities.
• Ability to perform basic math and accurately use scales and other measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and product quality.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a production team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down enrobing equipment according to established procedures.
• Take ownership of assigned equipment, production runs, and daily production goals.
• Monitor product flow, coating coverage, appearance, weight, consistency, and overall finished-product quality.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications.
• Identify equipment or process issues and perform basic troubleshooting.
