Job summary

Reliance Vitamin is seeking an Encapsulation Operator to set up, operate, and maintain automatic encapsulation equipment in our dietary supplement manufacturing operation. You will ensure product quality, record accuracy, and adherence to cGMP and SOPs while collaborating with Manufacturing, QA, QC, Product Development, and Maintenance.

The role requires machine setup, changeovers, cleaning, basic troubleshooting, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with machine setup, product changeovers, cleaning, disassembly, reassembly, and basic troubleshooting.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to set up, adjust, operate, and monitor encapsulation equipment safely.
• Ability to read, follow English SOPs, batch records and safety instructions.
• Basic math skills for capsule weights and production records.
• Attention to detail and clear communication of production and quality concerns.
• Ability to meet schedule and attendance requirements, with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic encapsulation machines and perform changeovers.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble parts per SOPs, report worn or damaged components.
• Verify blend, capsule size, color codes, and origin against records.
• Feed material into hopper and monitor safety procedures during runs.
• Adjust capsule weight, fill, closing, and polisher operations.
• Collect in-process samples and report deviations to QC or Manufacturing Lead.
• Identify basic equipment issues and escalate when needed.
