Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Electronics Technician to support SRCTec Depot operations in Syracuse, NY. You will test, troubleshoot, and repair production electronic warfare and radar systems, sub-assemblies and components.

Responsibilities include setting up test equipment, diagnosing complex faults, reading schematics, performing solder rework, and documenting results. The role offers a 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics technology or related field; 3+ years experience in electronics environment
• Experience with test equipment (DMMs, spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, RF meters, oscilloscopes)
• Ability to read electronic schematics and wiring diagrams
• Self-starter capable of solving complex problems in fast-paced manufacturing environment
• IPC J-STD-001 solder certification is desired

Responsibilities

• Adhere to test procedures to support daily manufacturing operations
• Set up and utilize automated and manual test equipment
• Diagnose and correct complex system and equipment problems
• Inspect and identify faulty components on circuit card assemblies
• Troubleshoot RF, digital, and voltage failures down to component level
• Read schematics to aid troubleshooting and repair
• Perform solder rework of surface-mounted components
• Document test results and repair actions accurately
• Support production by testing and validating proprietary systems
