Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking skilled technicians to support the assembly and testing of electronic components on a 2nd shift in Wilson, NC. You will test components, analyze assemblies, and follow precise procedures to ensure product quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, and preferred electronics tech education. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must have 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
• A.S. in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Working knowledge of DMM, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, and Spectrum Analyzer.
• Basic component-level troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Test electronic components following blueprints, guidelines, and part-specific procedures to ensure specifications and quality.
• Analyze assemblies at the component level, document results, and maintain test equipment.
• Use hand/machine tools, measuring devices, and electronics/test equipment safely and effectively.
• Support production schedules, meet deadlines, and participate in ACE continuous improvement.
• Follow safety, quality, and hazardous waste procedures at all times.
• Use SAP and follow work instructions accurately.
• Train others, interface with cross-functional teams, and proactively resolve production or process issues.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and assist with audits.
