Job summary

Astronautics Corporation of America is seeking a Production Assembler for the 2nd shift in Oak Creek, WI. You will perform mechanical and circuit card assembly, subassemblies, and repairs per engineering drawings and procedures, with training on the first shift.

Responsibilities include hand-soldering, wire harnessing, and using calipers and hand tools. A High School diploma and the ability to pass solder and English tests are required; U.S. person status is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fine manual dexterity and ability to read instructions and drawings.
• Able to pass soldering training and English comprehension tests.
• U.S. person as defined under U.S. export regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and circuit card components per drawings.
• Perform wire harnessing and solder termination on boards.
• Use small hand tools, soldering iron, calipers, torque drivers, and presses as needed.
• Follow shop orders and engineering drawings and procedures.
• Work on second shift with shift premium; training on first shift.
• Report to the Manager of Electronic Assembly and Support.
