Job summary

Randstad USA in Pawtucket, RI seeks an Assembly Operator to perform manual assembly of components and sub-assemblies, prepare lines, and log daily production data to support performance metrics.

You will conduct in-process quality checks, assist in onboarding new teammates, and maintain a safe, clean workstation in compliance with PPE and safety policies on the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift.

Qualifications

• Light lifting up to 20 lbs as part of daily tasks.
• Ability to assemble products according to specifications.
• Follows SOPs and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and sub-assemblies according to specifications.
• Prepare lines, perform line clearance and loading.
• Log daily production data for labor tracking.
• Conduct in-process quality inspections and escalate defects.
• Support continuous improvement and onboarding of new team members.

Job Description

Assembly Operations: Execute manual assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and final electrode products using basic hand tools and adherence to validated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Line Preparation: Perform material organization, line clearance, and line loading procedures prior to production runs.

Production & Productivity: Carry out routine manufacturing tasks under general supervision, consistently achieving department-established target rates and daily output requirements.

Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous in-process inspections to uphold defect-free standards, segregating or remanufacturing non-conforming units as required.

Documentation & Reporting: Log precise daily production data to support labor tracking and manufacturing performance metrics.

Continuous Improvement & Support: Troubleshoot immediate assembly issues and assist in cross-training and onboarding new team members.

Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation in full compliance with safety policies, PPE requirements, and regulatory standards.
