Job summary

ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. in Omaha, NE seeks a Maintenance Technician for second shift (3pm–11:30pm) to inspect, repair, and maintain buildings, facilities, and production equipment.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical and plumbing tasks, and order parts as needed while following GMP, PPE, and safety rules.

The role requires flexibility for varying shifts and possible emergencies; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Follow all Plant and Safety Rules, GMP, and PPE always.
• General Maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities and equipment
• General knowledge to troubleshoot hydraulic systems
• Performs a variety of work including electrical, plumbing, painting tasks
• Troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment, compressors, boiler and all other ancillary equipment
• Works with other Maintenance and production employees to troubleshoot problems
• Research, select and order parts and supplies as necessary
• Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and possible emergency situations
• All other work as deemed appropriate by Supervisor, Manager, or Lead employees
• Mechanical: General knowledge and troubleshooting skills for belts, drives, sheaves, chain, etc.
• Safety: Knowledge of safety practices within maintenance field
