Job summary

Oneida Nation is seeking an experienced electrician for a 2nd shift position in Wisconsin. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for the gaming facilities, working under the Facilities Manager with no travel required.

You should have a Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician’s license and the ability to interpret blueprints, read codes, and coordinate with other trades. Shift is 3pm–11pm, with overtime and probationary wage adjustments as noted.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• HSD/GED within one year of employment.
• Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician’s License required; out-of-state license holder must obtain within six months.
• Lift equipment certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain electrical systems for gaming facilities.
• Locate power failures and short circuits; perform motor control wiring.
• Work with carpentry, HVAC and outside vendors to keep equipment in good order.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Provide staff training in electrical topics when needed.
