Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman apprenticeship in millwright, construction, electrical, plumbing, electronics, HVAC or commercial building maintenance preferred.
• Minimum two years of commercial trades experience.
• Strong carpentry, finishing and general construction skills.
• Ability to read assembly instructions and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repair on structures, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and furnishings.
• Repair swimming pools, saunas, whirlpools, stage equipment, and convention hall equipment.
• Maintain environmental controls including air filters and ducts.
• Replace light bulbs and water filters as needed.
• Document maintenance in departmental records.
• Make recommendations for improvements to Facilities Manager.
• Work independently and meet deadlines.
• Maintain attendance and dress code compliance.
• Adhere to Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
• Stay updated on regulations affecting maintenance operations.
