Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Goodyear, AZ. The technician will independently install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment.

Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with some Saturdays as needed. Responsibilities include repairing various equipment, troubleshooting PLC controlled systems, and ensuring quality and food safety

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical/mechanical experience.
• Able to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Capable of quick, independent troubleshooting.
• Lift up to 80 lbs and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
• Repair facility equipment like pumps, HVAC, fans.
• Repair PLC controlled equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Work from schematics and drawings.
• Assist in minor electrical installations.
• Support food safety and quality tasks.
