Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician (2nd shift) to perform electrical maintenance and repair of production and facility equipment in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate has at least three years of manufacturing maintenance experience, can read wiring diagrams and schematics, and is familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics, VFDs, PLCs, and safety practices.

ITAR compliance and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred: electrical conduit installation, fabrication, welding, HVAC and PLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical machine and facility systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Repair production and facility equipment to meet print and specification requirements.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Work with hydraulics and pneumatics to diagnose and fix issues.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair circuits at 480V/240V/120V/24VDC/5VDC.
• Operate forklift and scissor lift as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure a safe and healthful workplace and support continuous improvement.
