Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Indiana is seeking Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts to maintain and repair industrial machinery. Training on 1st shift with transition to full coverage.

Expect strong PLC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical repair skills to minimize downtime and support aerospace manufacturing. Primary duties include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance plans, and interfacing with suppliers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance technician experience with PLC, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical repair.
• Experience in ultra-high vacuum systems and man lifts (asset).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to keep equipment running effectively.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
• Install, repair and overhaul equipment and support facilities infrastructure.
• Inspect, operate and test machinery; participate in projects with suppliers.
• Utilize CMMS; be available for shift and weekend work, holidays, and emergencies.
