Service Wire Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to support upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and facility systems. The role ensures production runs smoothly by performing preventive and corrective maintenance and maintaining a safe work environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2–5 years of industrial experience, and basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of related industrial experience.
• Maintenance-related training or certifications preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Electrical background a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, equipment manuals, diagrams, and specifications.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments without climate-control.
• In-person attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility.
• Maintains safety standards and maintenance systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions while working to eliminate emergency repairs.
• Specifically diagnose electrical issues with meter to isolate and resolve issue.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility.
• Install and replace both automated and mechanical equipment and devices.
• Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations.
• Maintain safety standards and clean work environment.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
