Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring an Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Liverpool, NY plant. This 2nd shift role (3pm-11pm) focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on site.

The position requires 2+ years of trouble shooting and repair experience; a technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus. PCA offers training and opportunities to advance within a large manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical trades is a plus.
• 3-shift production schedule and shift changes based on plant needs and seniority.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Work as part of a team to safely perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns.
• All maintenance technicians are multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills.
